Loving in the passage of time

2014-2024

These photographs were made from within a deep awareness
that everything we love is already passing.

In early motherhood, time was no longer abstract;
it became something lived, felt in the body as a tension
between what was still here and what was already changing.

Time is not something that simply passes. It aches as it moves — grieving what it cannot hold.

In love, presence and loss are never separate:
awe and grief,
gratitude and fear,

because nothing we love remains
untouched by time.
